The Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), H.E. Shaikh Khaled Bin Humood Al Khalifa, is proud to be part of BHCG from its inception. H.E. Shaikh Khaled Al Khalifa, who took part in the recent pinning ceremony, stated “I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all those receiving the “Golden Keys” from the Les Clef d’Or for continuous success. Surely this recognition will enhance and elevate tourism experience at a world class level, and contribute towards the Kingdom’s 2030 Economic Vision with the recent strategy to develop tourism sector under the slogan ‘Our. Yours. Bahrain.’”
The awards, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, were presented by the Bahrain Hotel Concierge Group with the Third Vice President of Les Clef d’Or International Executive Committee Mr. Randy Santos and the representative of Les Chefs d’Or UAE chapter, Abbey Samby. Two of the seven “Golden Key” recipients, and now full members of Les Clefs d’Or – Union Internationale des Concierges d’Hôtels are local Bahrainis, namely: Ali Radhi, Concierge Supervisor of Four Seasons Bahrain Bay and Ali Al Nuaimi, Chief Concierge of Gulf Hotel. Hotel), Mark Nadonza (The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain), Madhu Naik (Crown Plaza Bahrain), Ahahzad Ishaq (The Westin & Le Meridian Bahrain City Centre) and Adil Amarir (Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa).
BCHG’s next challenge is to be recognized as an independent chapter member of the Union Internationale des Concierges d’Hotels, something the President of BCHG and Chief Concierge of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain, Khalil Al Yaman is confident of achieving, having the support of BTEA Chief Executive Officer H.E. Shaikh Khaled Bin Humood Al Khalifa, as well as that of the local hotel industry.
